Job summary

Mach Industries in Huntington Beach, CA, seeks a Global Supply Manager to lead sourcing, planning, and execution of propulsion systems across development, qualification, test, and production. You will develop category and supplier strategies, manage performance, and optimize cost, quality, and lead times in a defense-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience considered.
• 5+ years in supply chain for mechanical/aerospace hardware.
• Experience with propulsion systems and supplier management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, and NDAA is a plus.
• Ability to interpret complex BOMs and collaborate with engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy for propulsion systems across development, qualification, test, and production.
• Develop and implement Propulsion Supply Chain Strategy and manage a specialized vendor base.
• Onboard new suppliers to address capability or capacity gaps and establish preferred suppliers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Procurement to ensure timely sourcing and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts with legal/compliance teams ensuring ITAR/EAR/NDAA alignment.
• Monitor supply chain health with KPIs and drive supplier performance improvements.
• Drive risk mitigation, cost reduction, and resilience for long-lead energetics systems.
• Support supplier qualification, industrialization, and ramp strategies for propulsion hardware.
