Job summary

Mach Industries in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Mission Logistics & Global Trade Manager to lead domestic and international defense shipments, including ITAR/EAR-controlled hardware. You will collaborate with Legal, Security, Programs, and Supply Chain to ensure compliant, on-time movements worldwide.

The role demands strategic logistcs planning, regulatory navigation, and coordination with external partners to support complex programs and sensitive materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; significant experience may substitute.
• 7+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, global trade, or related discipline.
• Experience planning and executing domestic and international shipments.
• Experience with international shipping documentation, customs processes, and import/export requirements.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and logistics providers.
• Experience supporting hazardous, regulated, or high-value shipments.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, ownership, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute complex domestic and international movement of defense-related hardware.
• Develop logistics plans supporting international deliveries, testing, demonstrations, deployments, and other activities.
• Determine viable transportation approaches when traditional methods are not sufficient.
• Develop primary and contingency logistics plans for critical program movements.
• Coordinate end-to-end shipment execution from planning to final delivery.
• Identify constraints early and develop mitigation plans before impacting schedules.
• Support movements into remote or challenging international locations.
• Partner with Legal, Security, Programs, Engineering, and Supply Chain to support compliant international movement.
