Job summary

Mach Industries in the United States is seeking a Global Supply Manager to lead sourcing, planning, and execution of propulsion system supply chains across development, qualification, test, and production.

The role requires deep supplier management, strategy development, and contract negotiation in a fast-paced defense environment, with ITAR/EAR awareness and cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and program management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Business, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience in mechanical, aerospace hardware or similar.
• Experience in supplier management, sourcing strategy, and contract negotiation.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and demand planning.
• Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, and NDAA a plus.
• Ability to interpret complex BOMs and collaborate with engineering on procurement.
• Experience in development, qualification, or production environments with evolving requirements.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy for propulsion systems across development and production.
• Develop and implement Propulsion SC Strategy; manage vendor base for value and capability.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers to close capability or capacity gaps.
• Collaborate with Engineering, PM, Manufacturing, Test, and Procurement to ensure timely sourcing.
• Become technically fluent in propulsion manufacturing processes and related testing activities.
• Own demand planning for propulsion systems across lifecycle stages.
• Assess supply chain readiness to support development, qualification and ramp-up.
• Develop sourcing strategies to reduce cost and improve resilience for long‑lead materials.
• Drive supplier accountability for performance and manage NCRs and open orders.
• Conduct onsite supplier engagements to ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Support supplier qualification, process capability, and ramp strategies.
• Negotiate contracts with legal/compliance aligning ITAR/EAR/NDAA.
• Monitor KPIs and implement supplier performance improvements.
• Help develop advanced supply chain and industrialization processes.
• Support broader procurement for adjacent hardware categories when needed.
• Provide leadership briefings on performance, risks, and mitigation.
