Job summary

Vertiv's Global Strategic Account organization seeks a Sr. Project Manager to lead national data center and critical infrastructure projects across thermal, power, battery and monitoring products.

You will build relationships and establish repeatable processes from pre-sales through commissioning, communicating with stakeholders at all levels. You will manage resources, budgets and schedules, coordinate with production, logistics and contract groups, and drive safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience on critical infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of construction, electrical and mechanical contracting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize standard Project Management tools to conduct the project effectively, achieving quality, financial and schedule targets.
• Define and obtain the appropriate resources required to fulfill the project scope of work.
• Coordinate with order management, plant production, logistics, contractors and services throughout the project.
• Work with jobsite and field resources to ensure understanding of schedule, budget and scope.
• Escalate issues and ensure they are resolved with stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively in meetings and presentations and follow reporting programs.
