Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Project Engineer to drive new product development efforts, leveraging strong project management and cross-functional collaboration. You will work with Global teams to evaluate designs, resolve materials and process issues, and ensure readiness for manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent; mechanical preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and overseas (Asia).
• Experience managing several simultaneous projects is a plus.
• Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes and finishes.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to medium-scale engineering projects with supervision.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments across the globe.
• Evaluate designs for cost, materials and processing challenges.
• Maintain communication with manufacturing cells and suppliers; onsite visits as needed.
• Monitor project progress and provide weekly status updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate tests per established procedures and interpret results.
