Job summary

3M is hiring a Production Planner for the Hutchinson, MN plant to build and manage production schedules, analyze demand, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to meet service, cost, and inventory targets.

You’ll use Factory Planner, eMes, SAP, Power BI, and Excel to drive continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma initiatives, with up to 10% travel and on-site work in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before start.
• 2 years in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service or Marketing.
• Experience with SAP; data analysis with Power BI and Excel.
• APICS CPIM certification or willingness to pursue.
• Lean Six Sigma experience or training; leadership and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand to create procurement and production schedules.
• Develop and maintain operating rhythm to align supply with demand.
• Coordinate with internal/external suppliers and business teams to meet targets.
• Lead projects to improve supply chain speed and inventory investment.
• Utilize Emes, Factory Planner and other tools to improve service and inventory turns.
