Job summary
Weatherford is seeking a motivated Product Owner to join our software engineering organization. You will translate Product Manager strategy into sprint-ready delivery, owning backlog readiness and ensuring alignment to business outcomes.
You will lead agile ceremonies, collaborate with engineering leads, and maintain velocity and quality across delivery teams. This role requires disciplined execution, ability to resolve ambiguity, and smart tactical trade-offs that preserve delivery flow.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in technical delivery with Agile teams.
- Proven track record turning strategy into backlog-ready work.
- Experience writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery metrics.
- Strong collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain prioritized sprint backlogs aligned to strategy.
- Translate outcomes into actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Lead sprint planning and prioritize work within capacity.
- Coordinate with Product Manager and engineering to ensure feasibility.
- Accept work against defined criteria and ensure quality.
- Monitor delivery metrics and maintain flow.
