Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Global AWS Product Lifecycle Engineer to drive electrical product design, manufacturing, and installation for data-center infrastructure. You will own products through their life cycle, coordinating with development teams and field engineers to ensure reliability and scalable performance across AWS data centers.

The role involves travel, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on manufacturability and quality in electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years developing electrical and/or electronics products and launching them into production.
• 5+ years with systems or components including wiring, connectors, relays, circuit breakers, switchgear and/or transformers.

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and approve equipment submittals.
• Work with global electrical equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
• Build trust and relationships with stakeholders (reliability, operations, design, compliance).
• Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographic zones.
• Explain complex systems in clear language.
• Provide Field Engineering support for root cause analysis with quality team collaboration.
