Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Global AWS Product Lifecycle Engineer to provide electrical infrastructure support for AWS data centers, owning the product through its operational life. You will collaborate with the product development team to understand the product and lead engineering ownership from design to deployment.

You will review submittals, work with global suppliers, and drive continuous improvement at a global scale.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years developing electrical and/or electronics products and launching them into production.
5+ years with systems or components including wiring, connectors, relays, circuit breakers, switchgear and/or transformers.
Knowledge of design for manufacturability and working with contract manufacturers is preferred.

Responsibilities

Review, update, and approve equipment submittals.
Work with global electrical equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
Build trust and relationships with stakeholders across reliability, operations, design, and compliance.
Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographic zones.
Explain complex systems clearly to stakeholders.
Provide support to Field Engineering for root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
