Job summary

Leica Biosystems is seeking a Scientific Global Product Leader for Advanced Staining Reagents to define strategy for AI-enabled diagnostic assays and CDx programs. You will drive roadmaps, coordinate across R&D, regulatory, clinical and commercial teams and deliver differentiated, life-sciences solutions.

The role is remote with global coverage, travel up to 30%, and reports to senior leadership within the Product Management team. A strong background in CDx and digital pathology is essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (MD, PharmaD, PhD) required.
• Deep knowledge of CDx development and AI-enabled diagnostics.
• Experience in product management, medical affairs, or commercial leadership in life sciences.
• Strong stakeholder management across matrixed teams and external partners.
• Experience leading CDx or AI-enabled products with partners is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy and roadmap for AI-enabled diagnostic assays.
• Lead lifecycle management from concept to launch and sustainment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.
• Support evidence generation, market access and adoption strategies.
• Engage pharma, research institutions and KOLs to shape strategy.
