Job summary
Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Scientific Global Product Leader, Advanced Staining Reagents, to drive AI-enabled diagnostic assays and CDx programs globally. The role defines strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics, translating market and clinical insights into commercially viable solutions with cross-functional collaboration.
The position reports to the VP of Portfolio and Programs Advanced Staining Reagents and offers remote coverage for global activities.
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical or scientific degree (MD, PharmaD, PhD).
- Strong CDx development, AI-enabled diagnostics, digital pathology, SaMD expertise.
- Experience translating clinical, scientific and customer insights into product strategy and adoption plans.
- Significant experience in product management, medical affairs, clinical development or commercial leadership in life sciences/diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy and roadmap for AI-enabled diagnostic assays.
- Lead product lifecycle management from concept through launch and sustainment.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant, commercially successful solutions.
- Support evidence generation, publication planning, market access and adoption strategies.
- Engage stakeholders including pharma partners, research institutions and KOLs to shape strategy and partnerships.
