Job summary

HP is seeking a highly experienced, strategic and hands-on leader to drive the company’s Global Product Compliance function. This role reports directly to HP’s Chief Sustainability Chain Officer and will be accountable for global compliance across HP’s product portfolio.

The VP will guide cross-functional teams across PCs, Print, Software, and Services, building scalable governance, anticipating regulatory changes, and partnering with R&D, Legal and Supply Chain to ensure compliant, market-ready

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in global product compliance, regulatory affairs, or product stewardship.
• Strong PC compliance experience; preferred: Print, Chemicals, or Software/Solutions.
• Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks and enforcement trends in key regions (EU, US, China, LATAM).
• Experience working across multiple product domains and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to lead in highly matrixed environments and drive alignment across business, legal, and technical functions.
• Experience managing global budgets & resources, with responsibilities of annual operating plans and strategic roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead HP’s product compliance strategy and execution across PCs, Print, Supplies, and Software/Solutions, with strong prioritization.
• Direct a global team of compliance professionals to monitor, interpret, report, and identify risks for evolving regulations.
• Build governance frameworks and standards of procedures for risk management, cross-functional collaboration, incident response, and escalation.
• Guide cross-functional teams in embedding compliance processes into product lifecycles.
• Synthesize regulatory requirements into strategy and actionable guidance to enable compliant launches.
• Advance HP’s digital transformation of compliance through tools and dashboards.
