Job summary
HP, a global technology leader, seeks a Worldwide Technical Regulations (WTR) Compliance Engineer to ensure HP products meet global regulatory, safety, environmental, cybersecurity, and market access requirements. You will work with product development teams, manufacturing partners, certification laboratories, and regulatory experts worldwide to enable compliant launches.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
- Typically 4-6 years of experience in product engineering or regulatory compliance, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance disciplines including Product Safety, EMC, Wireless/Telecommunications, Energy Efficiency, Product Cybersecurity.
- Experience managing technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with suppliers, manufacturing partners, certification agencies, and testing laboratories.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure HP products comply with global regulatory and technical requirements (Safety, EMC, Wireless/Telecom, Energy Efficiency, Cybersecurity).
- Partner with product teams early to identify regulatory requirements and compliance risks.
- Manage compliance activities for multiple development programs from concept to commercialization.
- Develop and execute certification strategies supporting launch schedules and market access.
- Coordinate regulatory testing with ODM/OEM partners and third-party labs.
- Review and approve regulatory documentation and declarations.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, legal, sourcing, and regulatory teams to resolve issues and secure approvals.
- Communicate certification status and mitigation plans to teams and management.
- Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes, tools, and efficiency.
