Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a global leader to standardize engineering processes for Dry-Coolers and CDUs, developing scalable product platforms that support lifecycle management, digital transformation, and design automation.

You will drive consistency in product structures, BOMs, CAD models and configuration models, lead cross-functional teams worldwide, and enable configurability and platform scalability across New Product Introduction and sustaining engineering.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in product business, equipment design, documentation and manufacturing of configurable products.
Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience as a designer.
Associate degree required.
Mastery of 3D modeling software (Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor).
Experience with ERP systems and BOM configurators is preferred.

Responsibilities

Standardize engineering processes for Dry-Coolers and CDUs across global teams.
Lead product architecture efforts for EOM structures, CAD, BOMs and configuration models.
Define and govern product data architecture across systems.
Develop design standards and governance to improve quality and efficiency.
Drive configurability and platform scalability with cross-functional collaboration.
Support global change management and adoption of best practices.
