Job summary

Qualifications

• This is an intermediate level position with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Generally 2–4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure commitments from demand planning groups meet the product lead times.
• Resolve delays in providing the needed material within the agreed timeline.
• Manage lead times of all POs placed on behalf of the customer and report on lead times.
• Expedite POs as needed.
• Ensure the recommit process is followed as needed.
• Review backlog and coordinate with the supplier on recommits and expediting decisions.
• Review suppliers’ build/ship plans to meet PO commitments.
• Review potential on-time shipments, document issues, and report weekly.
• Manually schedule orders outside lead time and identify root causes.
• Monitor PO lead times and address issues to improve compliance.
