Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Lancaster, OH is seeking a Procurement Specialist / Material Planner to liaison between direct fulfillment program manager, demand planners and the BTS site. You will manage lead times, coordinate dock operations, and support new building startups with safety and process compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of related experience preferred.
• Procurement/materials planning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between direct fulfillment program manager, demand planners and BTS site.
• Ensure delivery lead times meet commitments with internal/external partners.
• Expedite SAP delivery orders to the site as needed.
• Review build/ship plans to meet delivery commitments.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement projects.
• Manage dock operations and training documentation for the site.
• Back up build supervisor and understand all systems/processes.
• Coordinate onboarding and training for new material planners.
