Morningstar is seeking a Director of Procurement in Corporate Services to drive enterprise-wide sourcing strategies and contract negotiations with key suppliers. Reporting to the Head of Global Procurement, the role demands data-driven decision making, strong stakeholder relationships, and leadership across multiple spend categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/JD preferred.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing and commercial leadership across large spend categories.
• Strong negotiation experience with complex contracts and master services agreements.
• Experience driving global sourcing programs in a fast-paced enterprise.
• Excellent collaboration and executive communication across HR, Finance, and Legal.

Responsibilities

• Own category strategy and contract negotiations across Professional Services, Travel, Contingent Workforce, and Facilities/CapEx.
• Design data-driven sourcing strategies addressing cost, speed, quality and innovation.
• Lead supplier evaluations, negotiations and end-to-end contract management.
• Negotiate complex, global agreements focused on total value and savings.
• Use analytics and automation to enhance visibility and decision speed.
• Prepare RFQs/RFPs, analyse proposals and manage evaluations.
• Act as trusted commercial advisor to senior leaders across business functions.
• Align sourcing strategies to enterprise growth and margin goals.
• Develop and mentor the procurement team and drive process improvements.
