Job summary

JD Power is seeking a Senior Director, Procurement & Sourcing to lead our global procurement function. The role focuses on driving efficiency, governance, and value across technology, software, and indirect spend, spanning North America and Europe.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Global or multi-region procurement experience, with exposure to European markets.
• Strong background in IT/software procurement—SaaS, enterprise systems, licensing, and managed services.
• Proven contract negotiation, cost optimization, and supplier performance management.
• Strategic thinker with cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global procurement and sourcing strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead sourcing for technology, software, and professional services, including enterprise systems, SaaS, and infrastructure contracts.
• Build and manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, performance, and compliance.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and Business Operations to optimize supplier lifecycle management and risk mitigation.
• Establish category management frameworks and KPIs for cost, quality, and delivery.
• Drive adoption of procurement best practices across regions, ensuring consistency with local flexibility.
• Oversee global RFP processes, contract negotiations, and renewal strategies.
• Support procurement governance, supplier diversity initiatives, and ESG sourcing goals.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of sourcing professionals.
