DLA Piper is seeking a Director, Global Private Markets, to act as a central coordinator and commercial architect for the firm's Global Private Markets initiative. The role requires a highly strategic, relationship‑driven business development leader who translates market insight into client growth.

You will collaborate across practice groups and regions, identify opportunities, and drive revenue‑generating client programs while shaping the firm's private markets strategy into tangible outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years in business development, strategy, or related leadership in professional services.
• Experience with global law firms or financial services is preferred.
• Experience in private markets and capital activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of Global Private Markets strategy and annual business plan.
• Identify opportunities across private markets including private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real assets, funds, and other private capital sectors.
• Coordinate among practice groups, industry sectors, and regional offices participating in the initiative.
• Develop client targeting strategies focused on institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, asset managers, sponsors, family offices, and portfolio companies.
• Produce executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations for initiative leadership.
• Lead thought leadership and profile-raising initiatives and support external engagement for initiative leaders.
