Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Director, Global Private Markets who will serve as the central coordinator and commercial architect of the firm's private markets initiatives. The role requires a strategic, relationship‑driven business development leader capable of translating market opportunities into client engagement and measurable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business-related field.
• 10+ years in business development, client development, marketing or strategy.
• Experience in global professional services serving private capital clients.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the Global Private Markets strategy and annual business plan.
• Identify market opportunities and client needs across private markets.
• Coordinate among practice groups, industry sectors, and regional offices.
• Develop client targeting strategies focused on institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, sponsors, and family offices.
• Produce executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations.
• Oversee private markets thought leadership, client alerts, publications and events.
