Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Director, Global Private Markets to serve as the central coordinator and commercial architect of the firm’s Private Markets initiative. This senior leader will identify market opportunities, connect lawyers across disciplines, drive revenue-generating client initiatives, and translate strategy into client engagement and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Law or similar field.
• 10+ years’ progressively responsible experience in business development, client development, marketing, strategy, or related professional services leadership roles.
• Experience within a global law firm, financial services organization, investment management firm, consulting firm, or other professional services environment serving private capital clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of Global Private Markets strategy and annual business plan.
• Identify market opportunities and client needs across private markets.
• Coordinate across practice groups, regional offices and leadership to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Develop client targeting strategies and manage pursuit teams for major opportunities.
• Produce executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations for initiative leadership.
• Drive thought leadership and external engagement for the private markets initiative.
