Job summary

Alight Solutions is seeking a Senior Privacy Consultant to work with the Global Privacy Office and Legal teams. The role focuses on third-party privacy risk management, Records of Processing Activities, and managing the privacy mailbox.

You will support a broad privacy program, including Privacy Impact Assessments, policy development, and cross‑functional collaboration. Travel may be required for certain offices and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 3+ years in privacy, data security and/or compliance.
• IAPP certification or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
• Knowledge of international, federal, and state privacy laws (CCPA, HIPAA, GDPR).
• U.S. citizenship status required for government-related work.
• Experience with privacy governance platforms (OneTrust, Ketch, Viso, ServiceNow).
• Able to work with global teams and build cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Privacy and team in managing Alight’s global privacy program.
• Lead 3rd party vendor privacy risk management assessments.
• Conduct Records of Processing Activities.
• Manage Global Privacy Office mailbox and respond to privacy questions/complaints.
• Support implementation of a global privacy controls framework; monitor and test controls.
• Coordinate organizational records management practices and procedures.
• Contribute to Privacy Impact Assessments, reporting and policy generation.
• Collaborate across functions to maintain strong working relationships.
