Job summary

Netcracker Technology seeks a Corporate Legal Counsel focused on information security, privacy, and compliance. The role negotiates security, privacy, and compliance provisions in customer agreements across software development, delivery, and professional services for Telco/ISP customers globally.

This experienced individual contributor collaborates with commercial legal, information security, sales, and technical teams to navigate regulatory requirements and internal controls throughout

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of legal experience focused on information security, privacy, and compliance.
• Experience negotiating security and privacy terms in software/services agreements.
• Knowledge of GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST and similar standards.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate information security, data protection, and compliance provisions in customer contracts.
• Act as a liaison between commercial legal, security, sales, compliance and stakeholders.
• Serve as a customer-facing legal contact during contract negotiations and project lifetime.
• Support contracting for Telco/ISP software and professional services, including AI/SaaS/cloud offerings.
• Advise internal teams on regulatory and contractual data protection requirements.
• Ensure contracts align with internal security controls and policies.
• Track global laws and industry standards impacting telecom customers.
• Develop and maintain standard contractual language and negotiation playbooks.
