Ladders is seeking a Legal Director, Privacy to lead the organization’s global privacy program, partnering with legal, product, and operations to embed privacy into core processes and manage cross-border risk. Based in New York, this role shapes compliance with GDPR/CCPA, translates complex regulations for business stakeholders, and acts as the primary liaison with authorities.

A JD with NY bar and 12+ years of privacy experience are required.

Competenze

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership (prefer NY).
• 12+ years of legal experience focused on privacy and data protection in tech or consumer sectors.
• Experience building global privacy programs and managing cross-border compliance (GDPR/CCPA).
• CIPP/US or CIPP/E certifications preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to translate complex regulations for business teams.

Mansioni

• Lead and enhance the global privacy program to ensure international compliance.
• Partner with legal, product, operations, and business teams to embed privacy in processes.
• Develop a privacy risk management framework including DPIAs.
• Advise on evolving data protection regulations and program updates.
• Create training on data protection for employees.
