Job summary

Avantor is seeking a highly experienced Principal Portfolio Project Manager to lead a portfolio of global programs and CAPEX investments within its Life Sciences business. You will oversee portfolio governance, executive reporting, and cross‑functional delivery across manufacturing, IT, EHS, Real Estate, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive project, program, and portfolio management experience, including leadership of global CAPEX projects and strategic business initiatives.
• PMP certification from PMI, or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of strategic initiatives and capital investments across Engineering, Operations, EHS, PSM, Real Estate, IT, Supply Chain, and Commercial functions.
• Drive end-to-end project and program management from concept through execution and handover.
• Provide executive portfolio reporting and governance to prioritize funding and align with corporate objectives.
