Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a PMO Program Manager to lead governance, portfolio management, and execution across nine SMEs and multiple US factories. The role blends factory-floor presence with finance discussions, leveraging digital PMO tools to track capital, ROI, and benefits realization.

You will standardize stage-gate processes, consolidate roadmaps, and ensure funded initiatives deliver measurable safety, quality, delivery, and productivity improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business; PMP or equivalent certification.
12+ years in program or portfolio management in manufacturing.
Experience building/running PMO or portfolio governance from the ground up.
Proven ability to manage multi-site capital portfolios.
Hands-on engagement with factory leadership and SMEs.

Responsibilities

Establish portfolio governance charter and RACI with execs.
Consolidate master technology and capital roadmap by factory/year.
Lead stage-gate processes Identify → Pilot → Business Case → Deploy → Scale.
Maintain modern digital PMO tools with live dashboards.
Travel internationally 30–50%.
