Job summary

FIS is seeking experienced technical operations to support production environments for Capital Markets SaaS. The role involves day-to-day monitoring, incident response, and enabling projects, releases, conversions, and business continuity for customers.

Candidates should have Windows/Linux command-line skills, scripting, networking, security, and DBMS knowledge (Oracle/SQL). Experience with Java, Tomcat/Apache, and IBM MQ/NDM is a plus in a global, 24/7 team.

Qualifications

• Command line mastery of Windows and Linux.
• Hands-on scripting in Bash, BAT, Cron, and Korn.
• Networking, routing, load balancers, VPNs.
• Security administration: SSH, TLS, certificate management.
• DBMS knowledge: Oracle and SQL.
• Java support.
• Basic understanding of J2EE: Tomcat/Apache.
• Installation/upgrade of IBM MQ, Direct:Connect NDM, IBM Control Center, Rocket Visual COBOL.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support of production environments.
• Mitigate downtime for customers and support issue response.
• Provide technical support for projects, releases, conversions, and business continuity.
