Job summary

FIS is seeking an experienced software engineer to contribute to Platform and Product Engineering, focusing on cloud-native architectures, modernizing platforms, and building scalable solutions. You’ll work with Java, Spring Boot, React, and data technologies to ship features end-to-end in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience, strong design skills, and comfort with DevOps, microservices, and modern web frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Platform and Product Engineering to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable features.
• Contribute to automated build, deploy, and test processes for cloud-native solutions.
• Brainstorm and implement improvements to engineer experience and system performance.
• Work across frontend and backend domains to deliver cohesive, high-quality products.
• Demo and present work to teammates and stakeholders; explore new technologies for the stack.
