Job summary

FIS is seeking experienced technical operations professionals to reinforce its platform operations team supporting Capital Markets SaaS environments. You will join a senior team delivering day-to-day production support, uptime, and response for shared client environments.

Responsibilities include supporting projects, releases, conversions, and business continuity. Candidates should have OS mastery, scripting, networking, security, and DBMS skills.

About the role:

We are reinforcing our platform operations team to support growth in the Capital Markets Software as a Service (SaaS) environments. We are looking for experienced technical operations to supplement the existing support team who manages the environments for Transfer Agency Solutions, providing shareholder services to our customers.

About the team:

The team provides day-to-day hands‑on support for the applications in which our customer operates their business. The team is made up of senior technologists covering a broad array of software and infrastructure. The support model is follow-the-sun and provides support coverage around the clock with team members located globally.

What you will be doing:

Day-to-day support of production environments is mission one. The goals of the team are to provide any downtime for our customers and mitigate any unplanned issues. In addition, the team provides technical support to do projects, releases, conversions, and business continuity.

What you will need:

• Command line mastery of Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
• Hands-on experience with one or many scripting languages: BASH, BAT, Cron, KORN,
• Working knowledge of networking, routing, Loadbalacers, VPNs
• Security administration: SSH, TLS, Certificate management,
• General working knowledge of DBMS suites (Oracle, SQL)
• Java support Basic understanding of J2EE platform - experience on at least one: Tomcat, Apache
• Installation/upgrade of third‑party products such as: IBM MQ, Direct:Connect NDM, IBM Control Center, Rocket Visual COBOL etc.

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience with Citrix Enterprise, IBM MQ, PGP, NDM, MS Active Directory
• Experience with Web App monitoring/support Dynatrace
• Exposure to CICS emulation - NTT DATA / UINIKIX (BPE/TPE/MSF)
• Visual COBOL Programming experience
• Financial Services experience
• Familiar with security applications - Cortex, BIT9, Qradar/SIEM
