Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting represents a growing pharmaceutical distribution company seeking a Global Procurement Specialist with a Pharmacy Technician background in Hillsborough, NC. This on-site, Monday–Friday role focuses on procurement and supply chain operations from sourcing through shipment.

You will source medications from approved vendors, negotiate pricing, prepare quotes, process POs in the ERP system, coordinate cold chain shipments, and maintain accurate records to support day-to-day

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician experience required.
• Strong knowledge of NDCs, brand and generic medications, and dosage forms.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other computer systems.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Source prescription and over-the-counter medications from approved vendors.
• Research hard-to-find and backordered medications.
• Negotiate vendor pricing and apply company pricing structures.
• Prepare and send customer quotes.
• Process purchase orders using the ERP system.
• Coordinate shipments and verify order accuracy.
• Manage cold chain and controlled medication shipments when necessary.
• Track shipments and communicate order updates with customers.
• Maintain accurate records and support day-to-day procurement operations.
