Pharmacy Technician Incentive Program

Job summary

UNC Health Care in Durham, NC seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Supply Chain Distribution to support the accurate preparation, packaging, and distribution of pharmaceuticals in a centralized warehouse. All work is under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist and aimed at compliant, timely delivery to facilities and pharmacies.

This role includes an incentive program of 5000 dollars spread over two years, with payments after six months, one year, and two years of employment; requires NC

Qualifications

• Standing for extended periods; 8-hour shifts.
• Able to lift 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to reach overhead to access shelved products.
• Proficient with warehouse management systems and basic computer apps (Office).
• Priority given to those with pharmacy technician training or certification.

Responsibilities

• Select, label, and package medications for hospital/clinic distribution.
• Ensure storage/shipping complies with policies and regulations.
• Receive, verify, and stock incoming pharmaceutical products.
• Conduct inventory counts and track expiry dates.
• Maintain accurate drug movements in inventory systems.
• Prepare orders for shipment with proper labeling and storage.
