Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Supply Chain Distribution to support accurate preparation, packaging, and distribution of medications from a centralized warehouse. You will work under a licensed Pharmacist to ensure regulatory compliance and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment in Durham, NC.

Qualifications

• Prior pharmacy technician experience.
• Registration as a technician with the NC Board of Pharmacy.
• CPhT certification or ExCPT certification.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select, label, and package medications for distribution to hospitals and clinics.
• Receive, verify, and stock incoming pharmaceutical products.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts and expiration management.
• Prepare orders for shipment with proper packaging and storage conditions.
• Assist with training of new employees and support process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and audits.
