Job summary

Founders Pledge is seeking a hands-on People Operations Partner based in New York to own US payroll, benefits, and compliance across the US, UK and Germany. You’ll manage onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day HR inquiries while partnering with Finance on audits and invoices.

The role includes HRIS data stewardship and workplace operations for NY and SF offices. You will report to the People Director and help shape a small, mission-driven team across the US and UK.

Qualifications

• Hands-on US payroll, benefits and 401(k) administration.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll and US employment compliance.
• Start-up or small-organisation experience.
• Strong attention to detail and good judgement.
• Experience with payroll systems and data management.
• Ability to manage day-to-day HR questions and onboarding/offboarding.

Responsibilities

• Own US, UK and German payroll and benefits.
• Keep us compliant with global employment rules and paperwork.
• Onboard, offboard and handle employee relations with care.
• Own HRIS data and org health metrics.
• Coordinate global People operations with Europe.
• Support audits and manage supplier invoices and payments.
• Oversee workplace management for NY and SF offices.
