Job summary

Versa Networks is seeking a VP of People to lead and scale our global HR function from Santa Clara, CA. You will own the people strategy, build HRIS, career frameworks, and a high-performing team to support our near-IPO growth.

You’ll partner with the CEO and finance, drive organizational design, compensation, and compliance across jurisdictions, and nurture a culture built for rapid scale and inclusion.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including a VP or senior leadership role.
• Built and scaled HR functions at high-growth tech companies, with IPO experience preferred.
• Deep expertise across total rewards, compliance, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year people strategy aligned to growth and pre-IPO readiness.
• Lead organizational design and workforce planning as the company scales toward IPO.
• Oversee HRIS implementation and ADP payroll for US and international locations.
• Design job leveling frameworks and compensation benchmarking across markets.
• Build manager capability, performance management, and leadership development.
