Job summary

Rocket Pharma is seeking a Manager, Payroll (Workday) to oversee accurate, compliant payroll administration and Workday Time & Attendance. You will partner with Finance, People Ops, Benefits, and external vendors to ensure efficient operations and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5+ years of payroll experience, a strong focus on accuracy, and expertise in Workday. This position offers a competitive total rewards package including equity participation and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 5+ years of payroll experience required.
• Hands-on processing with Workday Payroll and Time & Attendance highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of payroll administration experience, preferably in a public company.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and equity/RSU payroll preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle payroll processing for US exempt and non-exempt employees in Workday; coordinate global payroll with local partners.
• Process equity payroll and reconcile equity events (RSU and NQSO).
• Lead quarterly and annual payroll tax activities, including W-2 processing and audits; handle tax notices.
