Job summary

Progyny, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate, timely payroll for salaried, hourly, and equity payroll using Workday in NYC. You will support day-to-day operations, reconcile payroll, and partner with HR and Finance on compensation analytics.

The role requires 3+ years of payroll experience, strong Workday and Excel skills, and US work authorization. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities to optimize processes and drive automation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience with a mid-to-large size company.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll processing and tax implications.
• Strong planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Must be based in the United States; work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day payroll operations for salaried, hourly, and equity payroll.
• Ensure payroll processes comply with SOX and wage and hour laws.
• Collaborate with accounting to confirm payroll is recorded and reconciled.
• Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations as part of close.
• Lead payroll improvement projects and automation initiatives.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance for compensation reporting and analysis.
• Assist with equity compensation payroll and reconciliations.
• Support external audits during quarterly and annual reviews.
