Job summary

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager with deep Workday Payroll experience to lead global payroll operations. You will own end-to-end processes for the U.S.

and international locations, manage external providers, drive audits and reconciliations, and redesign workflows for scalability and automation. The ideal candidate will have a track record of building robust controls, reducing manual touchpoints, and improving payroll delivery across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll experience supporting U.S. and international payroll operations.
• Strong Workday Payroll experience with ability to audit, troubleshoot, optimize, and improve processes.
• Experience managing outsourced payroll providers and holding vendors accountable for quality and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll operations across U.S. and international locations.
• Lead payroll audits, reconciliations, and SOX control execution.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Legal, and vendors to improve processes and controls.
