Job summary

Current Lighting Employee Co Llc seeks a seasoned Global Payroll Manager to oversee worldwide payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. You will collaborate with HR and finance to validate payroll data and address discrepancies while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires extensive knowledge of payroll regulations, strong organizational skills, and a focus on process improvement across domestic and international payrolls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, HR or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in payroll management.
• Deep knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, taxation and compliance.
• Experience with payroll audits and compliance assessments.
• Proficiency with SAP and ADP payroll systems and GL interfaces.
• Strong analytical and data accuracy skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing global payroll processing end-to-end, including salary calculations, deductions and benefits administration.
• Monitor and resolve payroll tax issues using ADP SmartCompliance.
• Prepare payroll reports and participate in month, quarter and annual close activities.
• Conduct regular payroll audits and ensure compliance with US and Canadian laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with HR and finance to integrate payroll data.
• Work with HRIS for system changes, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Process new hires, terminations, promotions, and other status changes.
• Ensure timely processing of weekly Payroll GL entries and monthly accruals.
• Liaise between Global Controller and payrolls across multiple regions.
