Job summary

Gartner Inc. seeks a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage complex global payroll operations across multiple countries. You will partner with HR, Finance, and service providers to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing, while driving process improvements and maintaining strong payroll controls.

You’ll serve as payroll SME, handle audits and reconciliations, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced, international environment. Hybrid work supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience with progressive responsibility.
• Experience supporting multi-country or global payroll operations.
• Experience with outsourced payroll providers and payroll audits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and approve complex payrolls across multiple countries and entities.
• Coordinate payroll activities with managed service providers to ensure timely delivery.
• Process and review special payments (bonuses, commissions, severance, retroactive adjustments, overtime).
• Serve as payroll SME for assigned countries and processes.
