Job summary

Current-Lighting-Employee-Co-LL is seeking a Global Payroll Manager to oversee outsourced payroll processing for domestic and international employees from our Greenville, SC HQ. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely payments while collaborating with HR, finance, and HRIS for system improvements.

The role requires deep knowledge of payroll regulations, experience with SAP/ADP, and a proven track record in audits and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 15+ years in payroll management.
• Deep knowledge of payroll regulations and US/Canada tax law.
• Experience with SAP and/or ADP payroll systems.
• Experience with audits and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee third-party payroll processing end-to-end, including salary calculations, deductions and benefits administration.
• Monitor and resolve payroll tax issues using ADP SmartCompliance and prepare payroll reports.
• Conduct regular payroll audits and ensure compliance with US and Canadian laws.
• Collaborate with HR and finance to integrate payroll and employee data.
• Work with HRIS for system changes and enhancements.
• Process new hires, terminations, promotions and other status changes.
• Ensure timely processing of weekly payroll GL entries and monthly accruals.
• Liaise between Global Controller and payrolls across regions.
• Standardize and optimize payroll processes across all payrolls.
• Approve all payrolls prior to submission to providers.
• Update BI reporting tool weekly for payroll analysis.
• Calculate and submit 401K quarterly match with BI support.
• Manage funding of multiple 401K plans and providers.
• Manage funding of union dues and severance payments.
• Support 401K and audits as required.
• Maintain payroll systems and GL interfaces; ensure data integrity.
