Qualifications

• 6+ years of payroll experience in a multi-state U.S. and multi-province Canadian environment.
• 3+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll experience.
• 1-3 years of people leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, local and Canadian payroll laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of payroll professionals supporting U.S. and Canadian operations.
• Set goals, balance workload, and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop team capability.
• Oversee full cycle payroll processing across multiple pay groups.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, CPP/QPP, EI, taxes, and remittances.
• Maintain audit readiness and internal controls.
