Job summary

Bitdeer is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations across multiple locations. You will serve as the primary ADP system administrator, ensuring accurate payments, regulatory compliance, and timely tax filings.

The role requires a detailed, hands-on leader able to scale with a fast-growing AI and crypto infrastructure company. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in payroll, 3+ years with ADP, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills to partner with HR,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations (multi-state).
• Experience with payroll reconciliations, general ledger entries, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full-cycle payroll process across multiple pay groups and locations.
• Serve as ADP system administrator, ensure configuration and integrations.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws, wage-hour regulations, and tax requirements.
• Oversee payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and year-end processes (W-2).
• Review payroll data, timekeeping, and employee changes for accuracy before runs.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Accounting on hires, changes, and benefits deductions.
• Prepare payroll journal entries, reconciliations, and reports for close and audits.
• Develop, document, and improve payroll policies and controls.
• Resolve payroll inquiries promptly and confidentially.
• Support audits and maintain payroll records per retention rules.
• Lead and mentor payroll team as the function scales.
