Job summary

Demandbase is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to own global payroll operations across the US, India, and UK, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll for a multi-entity organization.

You will lead an offshore payroll team and work closely with PeopleOps, Benefits, and Corporate Accounting to align lifecycle events with payroll. Strong systems mindset and experience with ADP and Workday are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience managing payroll operations across multiple countries, including US, India, and UK.
• Hands-on with offshore payroll teams and cross-functional partnerships.
• Proficient with ADP Workforce Now and ADP Celergo.
• Experience with Workday Payroll is a plus.
• Strong payroll accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Experience supporting audits (statutory, financial, 401(k)).

Responsibilities

• Oversee global payroll operations for US, India, and UK, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead and coach offshore payroll team with clear performance expectations.
• Own payroll systems, manage integrations between payroll and HR/finance systems.
• Support payroll system implementations and upgrades, including Workday rollouts.
• Partner with PeopleOps and Benefits to reflect lifecycle events in payroll.
• Handle payroll accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes.
• Support audits and prepare documentation for auditors.
