Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) seeks a strategic, hands-on Senior Director of Global Payroll to lead end-to-end payroll operations and transformation across our global footprint from Austin, Texas.

You will partner with Finance, Tax, and HR leaders to scale payroll, drive standardization, implement automation and AI, and deliver accurate, compliant pay while maintaining strong controls and an exceptional employee experience.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership responsibility for global or multi-region payroll operations.
• Demonstrated success leading a large-scale payroll transformation, consolidation, implementation, or vendor transition.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. payroll and tax requirements with multi-country awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a globally distributed payroll organization with clear accountability across regions.
• Own end-to-end payroll delivery including regular and off-cycle payrolls, year-end processing, and equity payments.
• Ensure payroll execution is accurate, timely, and compliant with local requirements.
