Job summary

Alteryx Inc. seeks a Director of Global Payroll to lead the payroll delivery across 15+ countries, driving AI-enabled process innovations and automation while partnering with HR, Finance, Legal, and Tech.

You will oversee a high‑performing team, ensure compliance, and continuously evolve payroll operations through intelligent automation. The role reports to senior leadership, with responsibility for accuracy, efficiency, and control, including W‑2 filings and global tax compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, Finance, or related field.
• CPP designation preferred.
• 10+ years payroll experience with 5+ years in global leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in 15+ countries per policies and compliance.
• Partner with HR to enhance automation between Workday and ADP and other providers.
• Lead evaluation, adoption, and implementation of AI tools to streamline payroll processing.
• Manage payroll setup for new entities and regional expansion incl. M&A integrations.
• Foster a culture of innovation; identify automation and process re‑engineering opportunities.
• Provide prompt and effective employee service; escalate and resolve payroll issues with AI root-cause analysis.
• Report executive KPI’s to CFO on payroll metrics.
• Enhance internal controls and AI-based anomaly detection for compliance.
