RSM US LLP seeks a Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate and timely global payroll processing, compliance across US, Canada, and other regions, and ongoing payroll operations improvement. You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors.

The role requires 2-4 years of payroll experience, Workday expertise, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of tax regulations. CPP/FPC and mobility payroll experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years payroll experience in multi-state or international environment.
• Knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices.
• 1-2 years of full payroll cycle experience in Workday.
• Strong understanding of U.S. payroll and taxation; experience with Canadian payroll processing and international payroll practices.
• Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication for employee support and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Experience using AI tools to support payroll processing and process improvement.

Responsabilités

• Process and reconcile multi-country payrolls including U.S., Canada and other global payrolls.
• Serve as the Canada payroll subject matter expert, supporting end-to-end processing and year-end activities.
• Manage expatriate allowances, hypothetical taxes, tax equalization, and gross ups.
• Serve as primary contact for third-party payroll tax vendors (e.g., ADP) for tax filing and year-end reporting.
• Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and reconciliations.
• Ensure payroll procedures comply with applicable laws and stay updated on changes in payroll regulations.
