Qualifications

• 2–4 years payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state or international environment.
• Knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices.
• Experience with end-to-end Canadian payroll processing, reconciliations, year-end activities, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for payroll calculations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile multi-country payrolls (U.S., Canada, and global).
• Support end-to-end payroll processing, reconciliations, year-end activities, and compliance.
• Manage complex payroll components: expatriate allowances, hypothetical taxes, tax equalization, gross ups.
• Serve as primary contact for payroll tax vendors (e.g., ADP) for accurate filing and reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and reconciliations.
• Ensure procedures comply with applicable laws; stay current on changes in tax legislation.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
