Job summary

Strada is seeking an HRFS Analyst for a remote Canada-based role, supporting payroll accounting and financial reporting for Canadian and U.S. populations. You will reconcile payroll activity, funding items, and GL accounts while coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates have accounting experience with Canadian and U.S. payroll, strong GL knowledge, and proficiency in Workday or similar ERP systems, plus advanced Excel skills and a collaborative

Qualifications

• Accounting experience is required and includes payroll accounting for Canadian and U.S. populations.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• 1-3 years of experience using Workday or a similar payroll/ERP system.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform payroll-to-GL reconciliations for Canadian and U.S. payrolls, including GL postings and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare bank and funding reconciliations by comparing payroll and third-party data.
• Analyze payroll variances, accounting discrepancies, and compliance issues; provide resolutions.
• Prepare or support journal vouchers, reclassifications, and other adjustments affecting the GL.
• Support audits and maintain financial controls across Canada and the U.S.
• Provide functional support for payroll accounting and funding issues and coordinate resolutions.
