Job summary

Airbnb, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for Payments to drive end-to-end programs that move billions of dollars across 191 countries and 75 currencies.

You will partner with Payments teams to deliver reliable, scalable technology and collaborate with Trust, Infra, and Product groups to align priorities and risk management. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate decisions to executives.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver complex programs end-to-end.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and craft clear paths forward.
• Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, distributed architectures, and technical trade-offs.
• Excellent written and oral communication with diverse stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Develop program scope and objectives with stakeholders and drive end-to-end delivery.
• Align staffing, priorities and dependencies across hosting, trust, payments, infra and product teams.
• Oversee technical design diligence, dependencies and reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate risks, decisions and progress clearly to leadership and teams.
• Drive process improvements and scalable operating models across the organization.
• Support organizational initiatives to scale the payments platform for global expansion.
