Job summary

Remitly is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for the Receiver Products team in a hybrid Seattle-based role. You will set architecture for web, mobile, and backend systems enabling remittance receivers to save, spend, and manage funds securely across borders.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with product, design, analytics, compliance, and other engineering teams, deliver end-to-end receiver capabilities, and champion security, AML/KYC, and data integrity throughout the stack.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise building customer-facing experiences at product scale with modern stacks.
• Experience designing and building distributed, large-scale systems and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design and architecture for full-stack systems across web, mobile, and backend services.
• Deliver 0-to-1 product experiences end-to-end for receivers of remittances.
• Mentor engineers and lead code reviews while upholding architecture standards.
